Role Summary | The Trade Assistant is a hands-on role and works as a part of a small team to perform the day-to-day operational activities within a scope outlined by the SOP. The duties include.
There will be a use of various hand and powered tools depending upon the allocation of task. The duties are various, with the change of duties within the trade assistant role during the working day and directions on performing to the best ability. The role will also work within proximity to machinery which include trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and piling machine. |
Key Accountabilities | Develop, maintain, and be a role working creating a culture that promotes safety, accountability, and quality Actively participate in collaborative meetings including pre-start, toolbox feedback, and group safety involvement Ensure work targets are met whilst maintaining WHS and quality standards. |
Skills & Competencies | Demonstrated capacity to set targets for, and have performance management conversations with operational staff Awareness of safety Diligent and able to work to pressured timeframes High attention to detail |
Key Expectations | Maintaining awareness of operational demands and priorities, engaging with team leaders, supervisors, and client representatives across all levels of the organization, and providing efficient and effective responses Being a Team player and working to reduce project costs whilst maintaining output requirements and quality standards |
Qualifications & Experience | Construction Safety Card (White Card) High Attention to detail Drive to want to achieve goals Ability to work physically Experience in solar farm or construction preferred but not essential Right to work in Australian and on the Correct VISA |
